Step 1: Concept & Planning
Consists of a creative discussion between client and
designer to determine client goals, audience, and messages
of the project. At this time any marketing, technical,
and design requirements will be addressed and a preliminary
outline will be created.
Step 2: Design
The designer will experiment with different designs
to meet the goals and requirements. By the end of this
step, all visual design, features, and processes should
be specified to include programming as well as user
interface and visual design.
Step 3: Client Review
Client will have the opportunity to review the design
mockups with the designer. Any revisions should be discussed
at this point. Any design mock-ups will be uploaded
to clients' server. Sun Designs® will need the FTP information
for your web site.
Step 4: Production
It is impossible to start production until the design
and specifications are final. Production consists of
implementing the designs and programming. Revisions,
at this point, should be minor.
Step 5: Testing your website.
Step 6: Launching your website.
Step 7: Marketing your website.
Step 8: Maintaining
your website.
